DescriptionGround: linen canvas. Design: worked with silk in rococo stitch, completely covering ground, black diamond lattice, on dark green ground enclosing pink, cream and neutral yellow strawberries, rosettes, and flowers in profile. The letters AR worked in fine black cross-stitch in center of rosettes on flap, the letters SA on cream colored triangles (petit-point) under flap. Lining and inner compartments of thin pink silk faded and torn.
