DescriptionFolding fan of paper leaf with design on obverse side of ten butterflies on gold background (symbolizing sunlight) and, on reverse side, six white butterflies on silver background (symbolizing moonlight); mounted on light polished wood sticks, butterfly and vegetation etched on upper guards; upper guards and leaf expand to full size; brass rivet and small ring to one side.
