Large famille rose plate with purple and yellow decoration on a white ground depicting pink flowers with white edges surrounding a vase resting on a tabouret. This motif may have been inspired by an unusual type of decoration known as “à l’échantillon” or “aux cent antiques,” resuming a Taoist ritual.
