DescriptionFan with white silk gauze leaf with tiny steel sequins glued to form stylized initial "W," signed "F. Gidillot," decorative border of white silk yarns. Carved and pierced ivory sticks with chinoiserie motifs and forming Buddha when closed. Signed "depose [patented] Faucon" rear obverse guard. Stylized silver studs in rivet and ring. Condition: leaf very brittle.
