DescriptionSpanish-style fan of dark blue glazed paper leaf that commemorates Jenny Lind. Obverse: three printed portraits set into leaf; operatic costume signed "Jenny Lind DA" at left; contemporary costume signed "Jenny L[ind]" at center; operatic costume signed "Jenny [Lind] par A. Charo[]" at right; stylized gilt design with eagles in wreathes, animals, birds, swags surround. Reverse: stylized gilt design with three floral medallions. Narrow gilt band at top and laquered ebony sticks with painted and gilt floral motifs; mother-of-pearl buttons on rivet; stylized brass ring.
