DescriptionLeaf: paper recto, skin verso. Obverse: design of "The Reapers," man drinking, another resting on bales left, two men and two women harvesting with sickles center, man with dog loading donkey right; maroon and green decorative side borders. Reverse plain. Twenty-one carved, pierced and painted ivory sticks: shepherd and sheep carved center blades flanked by painted and inset mother-of-pearl chinoiserie design, gilt and painted borders; painted and mother-of-pearl inset details on guards; mother-of-pearl thumbpieces (obverse broken), brass rivet.
