DescriptionFeather brisé fan with feathers mounted on blades and a peacock tail feather "eye" on top of each white feather. The obverse side has a central medallion with a painted scene of man holding two rigid fans (pien mien) while a woman stands beside him. The medallion is surrounded by blue, green and red flowers with silver leaves. The reverse has a bouquet of green, red and blue flowers. The sticks and guard are pierced bone with geometric patterning. A blue tassel with clear beads suspended from brass ring.
