Standing female figure (Hera ). Wears a veil which hangs behind head and on each side of face from a stephane. Traces of red on the stephane, veil, lips, and base; a red stripe crosses the breast; black on the eyes; white slip in many places. Missing: left hand and fingers of right; a large piece from the base and from the front of the left foot.
Probably made in Attica.
By 1901: with E. P. Warren (according to Warren's records: Bought in the Dardanelles. I was assured it came from Ovagik.); purchased by MFA from E. P. Warren, December 1901
