DescriptionLower part of a schematically modeled female figurine (lower torso to lower legs) of buff colored clay with no remaining traces of surface treatment. Impressed dots placed in a line along waist and for navel, with incised lines to indicate pubic triangle and/or garb. Arms long and held close to body.
ProvenanceFrom Abydos, tomb D 11. 1900: excavated by William Matthew Flinders Petrie and Arthur Cruttenden Mace for the Egypt Exploration Fund, assigned to the Egypt Exploration Fund in the division of finds by the government of Egypt, received by the MFA through subscription to the Egypt Exploration Fund.
