DescriptionThis small limestone figurine depicts a bound male captive wearing a peaked cap. His legs are bent back at the knees and tied to his arms, which are also pulled fully behind him at the shoulders. The modeling of the figure is crude.
ProvenanceFrom Tell Dafana (Daphnae) found in the desert east of the Kasr. 1886: excavated by the Egypt Exploration Fund; assigned to the Egypt Exploration Fund by the government of Egypt; 1887: given to the MFA by the Egypt Exploration Fund.
