Fragment of a scene depicting the seated figures of man and wife with offerings and a long inscription. It is beautifully cut. It is in five fragments. One of the fragments is a portion of the wig and shoulder of a male figure. Another fragment is a portion of a seated male figure. His torso, kilt, and seat are visible. Red and yellow paint remain on that fragment. All five fragments are done in raised relief.


From Egypt, Giza. 1912: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
