DescriptionChamfered square rails from thh arm supports/rear legs and the stiles and front legs of the chair. U-shaped seat and rectangular back panel upholstered in a green/brown material with yellow, green, and red stripes and a scrolled pattern in the red stripe. The arms are straps of the same material. The back of the chair is scrolled on the sides and with incised lines. The arched crest rail is topped with a triangular pediment.

On underside of seat: "BOSTON FURNITURE COMPANY / PATENTED / Nov. 19, 1867, Oct. 26, 1869, Sept. 27, 1870."
