DescriptionMandarin style painted paper fan with applied ivory faces and silk robes. Leaf has painted court scenes with emperor, elaborate decorative borders top and left side. Black lacquered sticks/blades with flowers, birds and fruit. The guards are black lacquer with red and gold bird flowers.

Black lacquer box with three men painted in gold on the lid sitting under a tree. The interior of the box is pink silk and lining with the inscription "Ecardinali, Canton" on bottom.
