DescriptionMandarin style continuous pleated paper leaf with painted figures, painted ivory faces and silk robes in various court scenes with an elaborate decorative border, gilt paper binding, and marabou feathers. Red, pink, and yellow floral borders with gilt binding. The sticks/blades are carved and pierced sandalwood with flowers. The guards are deeply carved with figures and floral patterning. White silk double tassel suspended from brass ring.
