DescriptionFolding fan of white paper leaf and design of eight woman wearing kimono and carrying parasols surrounded by cherry blossoms with flowering cherry trees and tea houses in the background; below which is a linked hexagon pattern (kikkô-mon) in silver; above which is a white diamond lattice pattern on gold with small silver dots in the center of each diamond; narrow band of silver along the top edge; black lacquered sticks with painted gold scrollwork pattern on guards; back of obverse guard inscribed "Esco. Made in occupied Japan." Steel ring.
