DescriptionFolk art- memorials and family registers. Widow and five children standing in landscape near obelisk, on the base of which is written in pen: Sacred to the Memory/ of/ Mr. Daniel Ellis who obt. April/ 15, 1807 AE. 50 yrs. 27 dys./ Joseph p. Ellis obt. March 7, 1809/ AE. 6 yrs. 1 mo. 5 dys. Weeping willow right, sheep beyond, and homestead. Oval in rectangle, spray of flowers in each corner.
InscriptionsUnder oval in pen: Executed in Franklin, March 25, 1818 by Rachel F. Ellis, under the tuition of Miss Molloy.
