This sterling silver “Forget-Me-Not” link necklace is composed of oval links embossed with forget-me-not flowers and engraved on a center strip with the name of a person to remember. The names to be memorialized, each hand-engraved, read: Rhoda, Mommy, Daddy, Grampy, Ruth Ann, Aunt Ceil, Aunt Lill, Jack, Pop, Pud, Naomi, Edna, Boo, and Mother. Five links are embossed with insignia of the United States military, including the fouled anchor of a U.S. Navy Chief Petty Officer; the Eagle, Globe and Anchor of the U.S. Marine Corps; the Prop and Wings of the U.S. Army Air Forces; the Aviator badge of the U.S. Army (?), which is enameled with a blue “V;” and the Great Seal of the United States. One link is enameled with a blue service star on a white background with a narrow red border, indicating the wearer had a loved one involved in the war effort.

All of the name links are marked "STERLING FORGET-ME-NOT" on the back, while the military emblem links are simply marked "STERLING."
