Warps silk, striped white, yellow and green, with narrow outline stripes of blue cotton; wefts white cotton. Four stripes with brocaded patterns alternate in sequence: 1) cream herringbone 2) light neutral yellow, blue, red and white small-scale flower on white ground, 3) cream, red, blue, white minute serpentine interlacing vines on pale green ground, 2) repeated. Composed of four fragments sewed together. Brocading thread used to form cream-colored herringbone, originally wound with metal strips, only a few traces of which now remain.
