DescriptionNatural-colored linen fabric of looped weaving, undecorated. See notes on 89.244. Discovered in 1888 by W.M.F. Petrie in the Greco-Egyptian cemetery of Hawara in the Fayûm. . "The interments in this cemetery were from 400 B.C- 150 A.D." Amelia B. Edwards. Probably part of the same garment that 89.247 and 91.53 belonged to.
