Two red, blue and pink tapestry woven rectangles within stripes of light, medium and dark brown plain weave (dark stripes have decayed). Tapestry and plain weave on same warp. Combines three techniques 1) tapestry weaving in the patterned rectangles, 2) discontinuous and interlocking weft in the stripes, 3) “scaffolding” where on cord across center of fragment joines two halves that were probably woven separately.
