Description[One of] Three fragments of a crewelwork border; plain weave linen and cotton (linen warp in longer, horizontal direction) embroidered in scrolling floral pattern with dark, medium, and light blue wool; dark blue outlines of vine in stem stitch; dark blue dots inside vine in back stitch; flower motifs of all blues in Roumian couching or New England laid stitch; line drawn in ink visible on ground cloth where stitches worn away; said to be the handiwork of Mrs. Jeremiah Fogg, of Kensington, New Hampshire.
