DescriptionThe garment was of wool and the tapestry design is of natural-colored linen and green wool. In the lower left hand corner is a rectangular area that encloses two arches each framing a human figure of which one stands on a boat and holds cross-like objects, one with each hand; A circle above the rectangular area encloses a human figure holding what appears to be a sistrum. In the right hand upper corner are fish and lotus motifs. The figure in the boat, the figure holding a sistrum, the fish and lotus motifs indicate that the design respresents a Nilotic scene.
