DescriptionCorner ornament and roundel with brown, yellow and yellow-orange and linen weft loops on a natural linen tabby ground. The corner ornament frames the roundel from two sides. Design of the corner ornament shows straight parallel lines enclosing connected oval-shaped motifs. The roundel frames an interlaced eight-poined star with a four-petal rosette in the center. Four small rosettes woven in orange surround the roundel. Woolen loops worn; several holes in ground. Design similar to 48.1074, probably belongs to the same weaving.
