In the final phase of their development, the pashmina carpets of Mughal India display a charming profusion of tiny, clustered flowers.
Warp, silk; weft, silk; pile, fine goat fleece; 64 Persian (Senna) knots to a square centimeter. Ground, crimson; the design of small flowers and leaves is in rose-pink, ivory-yellow, orange, dark blue and blue green.
