DescriptionThrone base with lions on either side; two human feet are visible. The back of the throne (19.1893) is decorated with the figure of a winged Isis.
ProvenanceFrom Nubia (Sudan) el-Kurru, Ku 17 (tomb of Piankhy). 1919: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Sudan.
