DescriptionFragment. Part of a tapestry band applied to undyed tabby-woven linen ground. Polychrome wools and undyed linen wefts on paired linen warps. On a red ground, oval medallions containing single animals, are separated by stylized trees. Narrow borders showing an undulating branch motif flanked by leaves. Design in the central area is in yellow, light and dark green wool and undyed linen. Probably a fragment of a shoulder band. Holes. Stained.
