Warp of linen; ground of red wool; the design of a female figure riding a sea creature (nereid ); on the left side of the figure are motifs that may represent three Greek letters; the border consists of two parallel stripes, one encloses a branch with leaves on both sides and the other encloses candelabra motifs with floral units, is of red, green, yellow and blue wool, and natural-colored linen. Design shows Byzantine influence. Torn in the middle.
