DescriptionRectangular. Green silk damask ground with landscape vignettes brocaded in polychrome silks and silver threads. Symmetrical design: on central axis, an urn on pedestal in garden bound by balustrade, with cupids standing on terminal posts; at left and right cupids on pedestals before ornamental arches in arbor. Vignettes supported on sprays of roses and bound by lace and shell motives in silver. No selvedges. Silver threads tarnished and worn. Back of fragment edged with glued paper.
