Fragment of chasuble of St. Juan de Ortega. Ground: pale brown silk. Design: shows hind feet of lion and section of circular border, woven with red and green.
Probably acquired in Spain by Adolfo Loewi, Venice; 1928, sold by Loewi to the MFA for $2745 [see note 1]. (Accession Date: June 7, 1928)
