DescriptionWarp of linen; ground of natural colored linen, with ground of border of red wool; design of dark blue wool and linen. Design consists of two connected lonzenges, with frames showing circles of which each encloses a cross or an X motif. A circle enclosing a cross is in the centre of each of the two lozenges. Design shows Byzantine influence. From Akhmîn.
