DescriptionFragment of formal summer robe (hitoe) for samurai class woman with design of flower bouquet loosely tied with a ribbon and concentric wave pattern (seigaiha) stencil resist-dyed and embroidered in purple, red and green silk and couched with gold-wrapped thread on a light brown plain-weave ramie ground.
