Fragment of robe (kosode) with design of climbing ivy vines with some leaves in brown and blue resist-dyed spot pattern and others embroidered in green, pale gold, brown or white silk; rustic fence hand-painted in black ink (sumi) on a natural ecru plain-weave ramie ground; accents in couched gold-wrapped thread.
