Two narrow stripes of dark violet wool woven into undyed linen. Design in each stripe is of linen and consists of guilloche patterns alternating with discs from which stem branches with floral motifs, design is executed with a flying shuttle.. A narrow broken strip of the original tabby-woven linen ground is on one side. Frayed and stained.
