DescriptionFragment. Part of a rectangular tapestry ornament, on undyed linen tabby-woven ground. Red wool and undyed linen wefts; design consists of connected square motifs forming diagonal bands that were probably parts of a lozenge; a small cross is in each of the squares; the border is of plain brown wool. Holes, stains; frayed.
