DescriptionFragment. Very fragmentary piece of a larger tapestry panel, fine wool wefts on undyed linen warps. Design shows single stylized blossoms contained in diamond-shaped compartments; lavender pattern on brown ground. Only a small amount of the wool remains; most of warps are uncovered. Mounted on undyed linen tabby-woven cloth.
