DescriptionTwo fragmentary tapestry ornaments applied to an undyed linen tabby-woven ground. Remains of a rectangular fragment show two circles in the center and two heads in three-quarter views, two birds (?), and remains of two eight-pointed units (?) on a red ground. The other fragment is a band that shows a scrolled branch on a red ground. Design is in yellow, brown and red wool and natural-colored linen. Colored wool wefts have rotted out; eccentric undyed linen wefts remain. Linen browned; holes.
