Fragment. Part of a tapestry roundel ornament, applied on undyed linen tabby-woven ground. Pattern, defined by wefts of wool in shades of red, yellow and green and undyed linen, shows a pair of addorsed, mounted riders shooting arrows at gazelles (?). Tapestry very fragmentary; pattern not complete. Wools rotted out; linen browned, frayed.
