Warp, linen; ground of red, design of green, blue yellow, red and black wool. A rectangular medallion in the center of the band contains a bust with raised arms (an orant); flanking the medallion are scroll motifs. The shape and the size of the tapestry suggest that it is probably a sleeve band. Design shows Byzantine influence.
