DescriptionFragment. Oval tapestry ornament applied on undyed linen tabby-woven ground. Pattern, rendered with red, blue and yellow wool and undyed linen wefts, shows a pair of affronted, leaping hares (?) flanking a tree that stems from a lotus-like motif. Stained; holes. Some holes rotted out. Tapestry similar to 55.1084.
