DescriptionTwo parallel tapestry bands sewed onto a natural colored linen fragment; warp of linen, grounds of red, light blue and orange brown wool, with designs of light and dark blue, green, yellow and brown wool and natural-colored linen. Design in one band consists of two fighting animals in a central rectangular area flanked by nereids; the other band shows two birds, each in a square area; small crosses are in the areas between birds; the central area of this band is torn. Probably a fragment of a tunic with shoulder bands.
