DescriptionMedium sized open bowl with direct rim. Nile clay B1 fabric, red slipped on interior, decorated on interior in white with cross made up of two wide bands extending from rim to rim. The four areas around the crossbars are filled with white dots. The base is flat, finished on the wheel. There is an incised pot mark on the exterior near the base.
ProvenanceFrom Sheikh el-Farag. 1923: excavated by the Harvard University-Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
