Warp of linen; ground of red wool; woven with yellow, green, blue, red and brown wool, and natural-colored linen.
a) Fragment of a clavus with a pendent medallion; design shows stylized floral motifs and an animal, probably a dog; the medallion which encloses an animal, is framed by a border with disconnected discs.
a) Roundel with a central medallion enclosing two animals under a triangular plant motif. Surrounding the medallion are stylized plant forms, animals and birds.
The border ornaments of both fragments consist of a scroll with lotus-like motifs on both sides framed by two narrower borders. Design shows Byzantine influence.
