Obverse: Beaded rim; profile bust of Frederick II looking to proper left, wearing laureate wreath and drapery over armor; inscribed at edge “CESAR AVG IMP ROM”.

Reverse: Molded rim; eagle with head turned to proper left; inscribed at edge “+FRIDE RICVS”.
