DescriptionLead-glazed cream-colored earthenware (pearlware) with lustre decoration. Set with 1991.416a-b and 1991.417a-b. Semi-circular form on four cushion feet with four molded pilasters and round bands at the base and rim. Rim surmounted by a scalloped edge. Domed lid partially fluted with three holes and a lion's head finial. Molded decoration partially picked out in pink lustre, pink lustre sprigs painted on cover around finial. Pastoral landscape including a central image of a cottage, a shepherd and a cow, painted in pink lustre in three areas of body divided by columns.
