Bracelets and armlets

This articulated Art Deco bracelet consists of alternating links of steel and Bakelite that have oblong, flat bottoms and domed surfaces. The triangular Bakelite links alternate between being upturned and inverted, creating a visual zig-zag pattern. Seven clear rhinestones are channel-set in each steel link. The necklace fastens around the neck with a tab-insert closure.

Between about 1970s and 2018, acquired by Carole Tanenbaum, Toronto, Ontario [see note]; 2018, gift of Carole Tanenbaum to the MFA. (Accession Date: December 12, 2018)
