DescriptionThis symmetrical globular jar, of buff-colored marl clay, is broken off at the top, leaving only very small portions of a concave neck, probably originally short. It has a rounded base.
ProvenanceFrom Kerma, Cemetery N, grave 3. 1915: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of the Sudan.
