Bronze. Obverse: A nude, winged child, standing on one foot, who holds a laurel wreath in each hand. Inscription: GLORIA. Reverse: In center is large cicada. Inscribed on either side  F A M A. Inscribed on side of medal (.6 cm. width) At top: “The Society of Medalists Seventh Issue”. At bottom: “Medallic Art Co. N.Y.”
