This opal ring has a flat band with irregular slightly raised edges that does not continue under the bezel. The oval opal is bezel mounted and surrounded by an opening with an irregular gold frame that is contoured to continue the circle of the bezel. It is wider at the top and the bottom than at the sides. The “frame” has gold sheet overlapping to appear as though wrapped.

Markings

Several illegible marks on the inside of the shank.
