Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco, California

GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE on Highway 101 links San Francisco with the mainland of northern California. This 7-mile toll bridge with 746-foot towers and central span of 4200 feet is the first to be built over the entrance to a major harbor.
