DescriptionThe buxom young girl wearing a white mob-cap, blue skirt and bodice, black scarf and flowered white apron standing with a basket of grapes, apples and pears held beneath her right arm and resting on her hip, clasping a single apple in her left hand and smiling sideways at the young man standing beside her with his right arm round her shoulders, with long straggly hair under his black hat, wearing a puce coat, white shirt and pink trousers, on tree trunk supports, the mound base applied with leaves and flowers.
